Our search for a designer to help with our dermatology/aesthetics clinic renewal project led us to Marie Wallace, and we couldn’t be happier. Besides being a very talented designer, Marie was a great communicator, explaining each step clearly so that we felt we had a good understanding of what to expect. Being unfamiliar with the practice of dermatology, Marie took the time to understand how the clinic works, even visiting our existing clinic so she could get the full picture. We appreciated her knowledge about design, space planning and construction, as well as her high standards.

I loved the experience of working with Marie on a commercial construction project, so it was easy to ask her to help with my townhouse redesign. Marie is very knowledgeable and professional. She listened to us when we explained our vision and made each square foot the most efficient it could be. I think she had a very clear understanding of our project. She took the time to ask questions about our clinic, how things flowed and how we thought we could better serve our clients and their pets. Marie is well-known within the dental community and came highly recommended. We were designing space for a new dental practice from scratch, and from the very first meeting with Marie, it was obvious she “knows her stuff”. She was able to explain the design and construction process from start to finish and was always prompt in her communications. Her prices are fair and reasonable, and she is a true professional. Out of five stars, I’d give her six!

Marie was extremely well-prepared and seemed to know exactly what we needed, even before we did. We had free design offers from retail suppliers, but we felt there was much missing; our concerns were not addressed, and many details were simply glossed over by them.

We had heard many friends’ experiences with construction of dental offices, and it sounded awful. Our process was a breeze. Marie’s design was clear, and the contractors seemed able to implement them seamlessly. Her service was also exceptional during the construction phase, we rarely, if ever, had to wait more than an hour for an email reply, and never had difficulty getting her on the phone. Even now, 3 years later, we can email and she will reply immediately with the relevant information, which is so very helpful and appreciated.

Everyone is amazed with what she was able to do with the space, and we spent less than most of our friends who went with “free” design services. Seems improbable, but it’s true.
